Dean Petvin-Moore

Well Dean is one half of the Liskeard FM weekday brekkie crew, with a few years of broadcasting under his belt after years of Dj-ing around the globe including Camborne and Newquay with a record released back in 2003!! Dean managed one of the UK's Best short term Radio Stations in the UK, Malibu Fm 105.5, this went on to be Altantic Fm across Cornwall. After a short stint presenting the Clubbers warm -up on a Saturday night for Atlantic, he was rapidly promoted to the Breakfast Show co - hosting with Jane Friggens.
Since leaving Atlantic Dean settled into business in Liskeard with his wife Nicola. His life has evolved into one of selling flooring and blinds at Liskeard Carpets.

Nicola Petvin-Moore

Nicola (the better half) has never been on air (except for radio 5 live, when her eldest son was serving in Iraq with the Royal Marines), but proves to be a natural, constantly ensuring Dean stays grounded and firmly in place! After 10 years for Brittany Ferries in customer services, then took on the role of care in the community (hence Dean!) Nicola has a horse and loves nothing more than a good gallop around the woods.

The two together make a great team, and had the foresight and drive to ensure this station went ahead to promote Liskeard and what it has to offer.

They both have some quirky ideas and even had the horse Disney in the shop which Nicola rode and Dean interviewed! Some say they're mad, they say creative.

Catch them from 7am-10pm Mon-Fri.

Barry Green

I have lived in Liskeard for about 6 years now and I share my home with 2 cats and 1 wife!  Along with my wife Christine, we run our own successful company called Wicked Whispers Entertainment, specialising in a bespoke Wedding/Special Event, DJ and mood lighting service.

I have worked as a resident DJ in Clubs across the globe in such places as Finland, Abu Dhabi, Manila and London.  My experience of radio work includes Hospital Radio and live broadcasts from a club in Manila every Friday night! I've been a DJ for more years than I care to remember but I still love every minute of it! I have - and always have had - a passion for music and entertaining people. I started doing disco's for the youth wing of my school when I was just fourteen! My enthusiasm has grown over the years and I still get a real buzz out of seeing people having a good time because of what I do!

Dan Brown

Dan Brown is an up and coming local musician from Cornwall. A guitarist by trade, Dan currently teaches music at his home studio just outside Lostwithiel.

Being only 20 years old, he has already played such events as the Royal Cornwall Show and has taken part in the numerous Jazz festivals that have happened throughout the county. Pursuing his ambition as a songwriter and audio engineer, Dan has collaborated with many local musicians and has been part of various Grunge, Indie and Rock bands around Cornwall.

His New Music Show is intended to highlight the vibrant Music Scene and culture Cornwall has to offer, with content including features on Venues, Record Labels, New Bands, Gigs Guides and Record Stores that appear throughout the South West. So expect live interviews with up and coming artists and bands, special guests, very loud music and learn how talented Cornwall can be.

Rev Mark Pengelly

Mark, 45, has been a Methodist Church minister for the last 15 years, and has moved churches to Liskeard from Nottinghamshire this September. His roots are in farming and he worked on the family farm in both north and south Devon until he was 23. Although being a minister is more than 'only working Sundays', there's still time for other things, perhaps the most notable of which is a vintage John Deere tractor he restored - a 1950 Model A. ("I'm restoring a plough at the moment"). Another keen interest is computers and networking (he established a Linux Users Group in Worksop), in particular using OpenSource software ("I don't use Windows if I can help it!"). At times it can get nurdy, much to the embarrasment of his daughters Megan, 18 and Grace 20, both at uni, and his wife Sheridan, 26, who rarely finds a PC not in pieces. Sheridan, married to Mark for twenty three years, suggested the beard for a bit of facelift. It's almost an homage to Seasick Steve - Mark has diverse musical tastes which hopefully you'll enjoy on liskeard.fm!
